To all my European readers, Dutch awesomestore HEMA released a nice surprice this week! I just ran into their new nail polish lines and they look absolutely amazing :) Here are some press pictures:
The Hema Special Effect Chameleon line (€3.75 per bottle) consists of six duochrome shades, very much comparable to the China Glaze New Bohemian Collection.
The Hema Special Effect Glitter
line (€3.- per bottle) consists of six rich glitter shades, opaque with two coats. The colors remind me a bit of the Zoya Pixie Dust summer collection, but these polishes don’t have pixie dust/liquid sand finish. Still very pretty though :)
The Hema Special Effect Holographic line (€3.75 per bottle) consists of six subtle holographic shades.
You can find HEMA stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg.
Which line is your favorite? :)
Hello lovelies! Do you ever go to your local mini drugstore and run into something really cool? Well, it happened to me this week :) At my local DA drugstore I ran into a new color of their core line: 006 Million Dollar Shot. I’m very glad they gave this polish a name instead of only a number, because it definitely deserves one! This polish consists of a deep purple metallic based packed with multicolor microshimmer. In these pictures I am wearing two thin coats :)
Hi lovelies! Today I’m showing you Get Arty from the Essence Vintage District LE. Get Arty is a medium grey crème filled with pink and orange microshimmer. Unfortunately the shimmer isn’t as visible on the nail as it is in the bottle. This polish is very similar to Grey-t to Be Here, which is a tad lighter but where the shimmer was almost invisible on the nail as well. Too bad, Essence! But besides that Get Arty is a nice, classy and work safe polish. For me, greys are the perfect palette cleanser in between all the glitters and neons :) In these pictures I am wearing two thin coats, although one coat would have been sufficient.
Hello lovelies, I hope you are well! Today I’m sharing a polish by Enchanted Polish. This extremely popular indie brand released a Beatles collection called Imagine in 2012, which consists of six holographic multichromes! Now that’s exactly my cup of tea! Hey Jude is the first polish I purchased, but I hope to order the other ones soon. If all polishes are as breathtaking as Hey Jude is, I think I might have found the holy grail :)
Hey Jude is a gorgeous holographic multichrome that varies from a purplish grey to a brownish green to a full-on bright green. I just couldn’t stop looking at my nails, it was madness! I made pictures in several light situations as well as two bottle shots. Nevertheless my words don’t do this polish justice :) It was hard to photograph because multichromes look the best in daylight or semi-shade while holographic polishes look best in full sunlight.
Hey Jude: swatch in full-on daylight
Hello lovelies! Since I’m definitely feeling that spring is coming up I decided to share a sunny color today. This is L’Oréal Dating Coral!
